The Rockin' CSSUPM Annual Dinner 2015!

Shallom everyone!

It has been 2 weeks since the annual dinner has been held and of course this year's dinner took its twist into the Rock 'N' Roll side! The committee has done a really great job with the Promo Video as well as making the Rock N Roll night a reality.

Here is the link to the video:

Everyone showed up with their inner Elvis Presley in check and with a little of their grunge or perhaps their 'Rockin Roller' attitude to fit in with the theme this year. The dinner successfully took place at a very superb hotel which is The Shangri-La Hotel in Putrajaya.
The food was delicious indeed and everyone kept themselves full and satisfied.

This year's annual dinner rocked CSSUPM with a lot of activities during that night. The Graduating seniors were celebrated as they are in their final year with a Rock N Roll parade and also a session of a token of appreciation and not to forget a tribute montage video for the memories that they had here in Cssupm.

After that, there was the bidding game, where it began with Watson rocking on his solo guitar, Dr Kenny and his wife dancing to the Elvis Presley's tunes and also Clearance, who was bid by The My Chemical Romance table to dance with his partner to a slow rock dance. After the bidding game, The Elvis Impersonation came right after with Einstein, Lawrence, Stepheny, Emmclan and Leo being nominated as Elvis' Impersonation.

Einstein was the lucky one who won the challenge as he received Elvis' favourite meal which is the peanut butter and jelly with banana sandwich.

The following event was the award for Rock N Roll Best Dressed and also the King and Queen of Rock N Roll.

Rock N Roll Best Dressed!

King and Queen of Rock N Roll!

Finally, the Cssupm Annual Dinner 2015 was concluded with a beautiful and soulful prayer filled with memories and passion towards Cssupm by our beloved graduating senior, Stepheny Julius.
Then, the dance floor was opened for everyone to dance like a rockstar with the Batu dan Berguling Band rocking their riffs ending the night with a bang!

It has been a long journey for the committee to make the dinner a success for CSSUPM and also especially to all of the final year seniors who are going off to start another new journey in life. May Daddy God bless their journey and in everything they do! Here's a huge applause to everyone that made the dinner a great celebration! Hope to see a lot more energy in the future dinners to come! Keep Rocking with Jesus and He shall Roll our blues away! Till the next dinner!

"And so I am sure that God who began this good work in you, will carry on until it is finished and the day of Christ Jesus"

Annual General Meeting 2015

Acts 20:28

”Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.
Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with his own blood.”

Acts 20:28 came in mind at this year's CSSUPM Annual General Meeting which was held on the 30th of April 2015. Gathered in our beloved St. Anne's Chapel, all seek the intercession of the Holy Spirit to shower us with enlightenment to choose the next workers of our Lord's vineyard. Agnes expressed her feelings about her experience as a President, and her hopes for her successor, and his team:
Clearence is fresh and raw to be an EXCO, but I do not feel the slightest bit of worry. Because in my opening prayer, I invited Jesus to come, and choose HIS vineyard's workers. I believe Clearence and his team are the people that was decided by Jesus. I am very happy, and satisfied to see the new leadership team, they are determined, lovely, and most importantly value the Catholic teachings. Jesus trust in them, so I should believe in them as well. As I am now considered as the past president, I have to remind myself to give the new team their freedom to decide, and manage in their own unique way. There are many ways to show your love for CSS and St. Anne's, but it doesn't necessarily have to be in a forceful manner. I wish to see this team bloom, and serve with sincerity, and have fun along the way. I will watch over them as a guardian, and help them when necessary. I feel contented with who I have become now from my experience as an EXCO. Jesus has helped me grow during my presidency period in various ways, and I believe it to be positive. I feel thankful to Jesus, Dr. Kenny Teoh (CSSUPM Advisor), Auntie Cynthia, Daniel, Medna, Clement, and many others for helping me to be a good leader. I am also glad for the success my out-going EXCO team had achieve. The bonds that was established between us, and our CSSUPM members was the cherry on top of the cake. My EXCO enjoyed, and felt satisfied throughout their leadership term, and that means the world to me.

A word from Clearence Augustine on his appoint as CSSUPM President 2015/2016:

Honestly, it is a mixed feeling. The presidency post is the highest position in the EXCO. I do realized the responsibility that it holds for CSSUPM, and it feels heavy. Very heavy. However, I am willing to learn, and give my best throughout my service. As for that, I hope my team will gain all the support, guidance, consultation, and advice needed for them to perform well as most of us are new to the posts, but not new to serving. In addition, I hope that our CSSUPM members will continue to support all the events, and activities that will be conducted by CSSUPM. Together we work, co-operate, and create a loving environment between the EXCO with the members to ensure that St. Anne will always feel like a family away from home.
